Consumer staples stocks are usually considered as defensive and recession proof stocks, and they always have demand regardless of economy situation. I have listed 13 consumer staples stocks increasing dividends for at least 20 years. The dividend growth stocks are generally seen as less volatile because their income component can act as cushion during difficult economy time.
