It is time to update my dividend income report for the month of July.
Last month, I received over $800 dividends from 35 different income sources, aka dividend-paying stocks.
A while ago, I was trading my time at my day job and to receive just two paychecks each month.
Now, I am still trading my time for those two paychecks, but getting over 35 additional paychecks each month through my investment assets.
Even though the amounts I receive from my assets are smaller than my day-job salary, but they give a different feeling when I get them in my accounts for doing nothing.
To be honest, I just wanted to stop trading my time for money. So, I started to save a small amount of money every month and invested in dividend growth stocks.
After a while, I am able to see the benefits.
Actually, it is a cash-flow game, and I am enjoying playing it. It takes time to compound and get noticed. So, being patient is the key strategy for this wealth building game.
In order to enjoy the full power, I reinvest most the cash-flow and buy more income producing assets, so I will be getting an even bigger amount in the coming months and years.
Plus, the cash-flow growth will accelerate with dividend growths and new capitals.
Therefore, in next few years, I am almost certain that my dividend income will exceed my expenses. I am waiting for the day to celebrate my achievements.
All I am doing is to build a cash-flow that frees me up to pursue my dreams.
I have been posting all the information on this website because I love to inspire and motivate people to start thinking about their financial future.

Very inspirational post. Thanks for sharing.
Do you have any updates about your growth portfolio? one your holding, HLF (I own too), taking bit hit recently…

Hello Maseen,
Thank you for stopping by,
I didn’t pay much attention to my small-cap growth portfolio. The total size of the portfolio is less than 1% of my overall investment assets. I noticed that HLF is taking a hit, but it is a tiny portion of my portfolio so the impact is very (very) minimal.
Cheers,

Hey,
800 dollars is a great amount when considering the risks. Keep up the great work:).
Thanks,
Ron

Hello Ron,
Thank you for stopping by,
It is like a additional cash-flow to buy more assets, which leads to more income 🙂
Cheers,
