Another record-breaking month for my dividend income!
In June, I received a record dividend of over $1230 from 26 different income sources.
Many of you know that I receive ‘fat’ dividends in March, June, September, and December.
Therefore, I will be receiving more dividend in September and even more in December as I continue reinvesting my dividend and buying more income-producing assets to my portfolios.
Plus, the income is also accelerated by fabulous dividend growth announcements from my high-quality management teams. Overall, the magic of compounding effect helps me to reach my goal faster than I planned.
Whether markets are trading at all-time high or 52 weeks’ low, dividends will be coming to my accounts every single month.
Honestly, I am pretty happy with my results and the strategy I use to reach my financial independence. I hope that I am in the right track and stepping forward in the right direction.
If things go well, then I can reach my goal in the next few years.
- Keep eye on dividends and ignore share prices
- Building Wealth – The Goose that laid the golden eggs
- How I receive low-interest loans?
- I borrow money to invest in stocks (leverage investing)
Let’s get back to the numbers.
I received $1232.93 dividend in June 2019, which is 14.63% higher than the dividend I received in June 2018 due to regular dividend increases and dividend reinvestments.
Summing up all the dividends I received in 2019, I came up with $5252.83. One of my short-term goals is to receive at least $10800 dividend income during the year of 2019. So far, I achieved 48.64% of my target.
