My monthly dividend income hit a new high last month, as I received over $1430 from 25 different income sources.
Due to the recent assets sale, it may take a while to break this dividend income record.
I believe the stock markets will be trading lower or at this current level for at least a couple of months due to the uncertainties surrounding the pandemic.
There are so many businesses that are at no revenue due to the mandatory shutdown. And consumers’ spending is at a record low.
Plus, the upcoming quarterly reports and other economic data most likely won’t be great.
Besides, the U.S election is coming soon, and this will fuel the market volatilities.
Therefore, I better go with a slow & steady approach to buying assets.
For the next couple of months or quarters may be a painful period for most investors. But, I believe in the long run, everything will be fine, and we will back into another bull market.
Let’s get back to the numbers.
I received $1436.88 dividend in March 2020, which is 19.61% higher than the dividend I received in March 2019, due to regular dividend increases and dividend reinvestments.
Summing up all the dividends I received in 2020, I came up with $3021.55. One of my short-term goals is to receive at least $13000 dividend income during the year of 2020. So far, I achieved 23.24% of my target.
