This is my third net worth updates report. I will be posting my net worth updates by the end of months.
April was one of the busiest months for me as I was seriously looking to buy a home in Toronto area, but no luck within my budget, but I won’t give up until I find a suitable house for my tiny family. “Quitters are losers” is one of my favourite quotes that I use to motivate myself.
My net worth increased by from my last update. My dividend portfolio organically gained 2.5% (no new stocks or cash transfers into those accounts) in April 2014.
Hopefully, my next net worth update will be even higher as I will be getting a bigger tax return for the year of 2013.

*I usually don’t keep cash in my bank accounts, but I am planning to buy a small house by end of the year and holding $20 000 cash in my bank account for down payment.
I used the credit card balance and invested in high quality dividend stocks. Taking modest risk and leveraging are the key to become wealth.

Nice going bro 🙂 That’s great how all your credit card interest rates are so low haha. I’m sure you’ll surpass $50K once you get your tax refund. Good luck with the real estate search. Anything your mind can conceive, you can achieve 😀

Thank you Liquid for the support! Much appreciated. I am not sure why all my credit card interest rates are so low, I always get promotion rate from banks.. May be my credit history is so good :D. Thank you once again for the quote :).

Hi Roadmap2Retire,
Thank you for stop by!
I feel so happy when I see my net worth in numbers. Yes, it is a huge gain for me because I was in deep debt a year ago because of my student loan.
Ottawa is very nice place to live. Very quite and beautiful city. My cousin lives in Ottawa, and bought a new townhouse last year.
Thank you,
