I received over $290 from 25 different companies in February 2016.
This is my second dividend income report for the year of 2016. I am little bit behind the schedule to make this post as I spend more time with my one year old son.
As always, feel so great to see money pouring into my brokerage accounts from multiple high quality companies, and the income is much well diversified, pure passive and much safer than a single income from day job.
This multi-streams of income is growing year over year with new capital, dividend reinvestment and dividend growth.
At one point in the future, these dividend incomes will cover my expenses. The moment, I will declare myself as a financial freedom guy.
I received $291.42 dividends and it is 24.95% higher than same period last year which was $233.23.
I usually receive little bit low dividend in February, May, August and November.

Hi There,
Your information is interesting, however I have a few questions
Dividends come in every quarter, can you explain how you get it every month? Also, investing your money and is not compounding, its going to take a very long time to reach a million dollar portfolio if the price is not ringing high. Your money is based on your stock price going up and down. You would really need to compound is you want it to hit the Millions. What are your plans about that. What I see is living out of 10k or even 20k of dividends per year is not enough in the future don\t you think
Hope to hear your ideas on this…thanks

Hello Vince,
Thank you for stopping by,
Most of the companies pay dividend in every quarter and some pay in every month. I have over 60 stocks in my portfolio. Some pay in January, some pay in February and rest pay in March, and repeat. So I receive dividend every month from different companies.. I hope this make sense to you.
As you said, compound growth is the key to build wealth. Majority of my stocks are dividend growers. Therefore, they increase their dividend at least once a year. And, when a company increase its dividend payment, then in most case price follow.
So even without new money, my portfolio will hit the million dollar with dividend reinvestment and dividend growth.
I hope I answered your question..
Cheers,
