In January 2020, I received over $1170 cash dividend from 24 different income sources.
A few years ago, it was a dream to collect over a thousand dollars passive income per month; now, the dream came to reality.
It is real cash, comes into my brokerage accounts every single quarter for the work I did in the past. I can use to do whatever I want with the money.
I could pay down debts, buy stuff I like or reinvest them, so I receive even money for the next quarter. I choose to go with the last option because I do not want to interrupt the compounding power at the early stage.
Therefore, I will be receiving even more dividend income in April and the following quarters.
Most of the major stocks markets are at or near all-time highs, and most of the stocks in my portfolio and watch list are at an all-time high as well. Thus, it is tough to find investments at a discounted price.
The markets may continue to move higher from here or may take a dive. It is impossible to predict for the short-term actions.
As a dividend investor, I am okay with both the direction of the market movements. If the market move higher, then I will reduce some debts using my saving to improve my buying power. And if the market dive, then I will aggressively invest in buying more high-quality dividend stocks at the sale price.
It is a win-win game.
Anyways, markets offer opportunities from time to time, so it is always a good idea to be ready to take advantage.
Meantime, I will be collecting the juicy and growing dividends from my investments.
