Dividend income report – July 2017

In July 2017, I received over $660 dividends from 26 different income sources.

I was little delay in posting my reports as we spend most of our time outdoor and enjoy the warm weather. Too sad that summer is almost over. What to do. It is nature. We can’t control it.

So we should put our focus on things that we can control.

Similarly daily market movement we can’t control, but we can somehow control our dividend income. It is more predictable than capital gains.

Just imagine, you wake up in a morning and see more cash in your bank account than you had a day before. How would you feel?

Who doesn’t like when pure passive cash flowing in your account for doing nothing.

Exactly same feeling I get when I see money flow into my account in the form of dividend. All I did was purchased high quality dividend stocks, sit back and collect money. 😀 .

I called them cash machine. I bought the machines, and they print cash for me.

Many people think it is rich people game and hard to do by ordinary people. It is not hard. You can do this too.

As you know, I don’t make big money from my day job. I am just a regular person as many of you. If I can do this, then you can do it too.

You shouldn’t hold you back from investing because you are not rich.

All you need to do is learn as much as you can from good investment books, financial blogs, successful investors like Warrant Buffet, and from your own experience.

And, start investing. That’s it.

Now let’s get back to the numbers.

I received $664.75 dividend income in July 2017, and it is 6.84% higher than July 2016 which as $622.15.

Summing up all the dividends I received in 2017, I came up with $4453.74. One of my short-term goals is to receive at least $8000 dividend income during the year of 2017. So far, I achieved 55.67% of the goal.

Estimated passive income

For those new to this site, the Estimated passive income is the income I estimated to receive in a year based on my current investments holding and their distribution rate.

My Estimated passive income is currently at $8224.

One of my long-term goals is receive $25000 dividend income from investment portfolios. I have achieved 32.90% of my goal.

I am very happy with my results and achievements so far. I hope I am moving in the right direction toward my long term financial goals.
