I am very happy to report that received over $400 pure passive income from 30 different high quality companies.
I have been buying real businesses that generate real money by providing products and services to people around the world, and they share their profits with real owners – aka shareholders in the form of dividends.
It is not hard things to do, but it is like a dream. We invest our money in a high quality company. And, someone at the other end works hard and sends money to my account every quarter, in some cases every month.
Also, most of the companies somehow improve their profits every year and share the profits with their owners by increasing their dividend payment at least once a year. Therefore, my dividend income grow year- over- year.
At one point in my life, my dividend income will cover all my expenses. I am eagerly waiting for that moment to reach my financial independent journey.
As I always say, if I do this, then you can do that too. It doesn’t mean you start to invest in dividend growth stocks. It means you could find your own path and may consider create a multi stream of incomes using skills and interest.
Many studies say wealthy people have average 7 income streams. If you are depending on one income – your day job, then consider adding additional income streams in your spare time.
I am sharing all these because I just wanted to inspire to start your financial freedom journey (if you haven’t started yet).
I hope you get value from this site.
Now let’s look at my dividend income in numbers.
I received $411.82 dividend income in November 2017, and it is 18.33% higher than November 2016 which as $348.04.
Summing up all the dividends I received in 2017, I came up with $6922.07. One of my short-term goals is to receive at least $8000 dividend income during the year of 2017. So far, I’ve achieved 86.53% of the goal.
In order to reach the goal, I need to receive at least $1078 dividend in December 2017. I think I will miss the target by few dollars, unless I receive any special dividends for the year end. 😀 .
