I received over $1400 dividend in October 2020, which is 31.24% higher than the dividend I received in the same period last year.
I believe this income stream will continue to grow year over year with dividend reinvestment, dividend growth and new funds from my savings.
Therefore, I will be receiving an even higher dividend next year.
I admit that my journey went off track in March due to the unexpected health crises, which caused panic in everyone’s life.
However, I quickly recovered, brought my portfolios back on track, and moved forward in the right direction.
It was an excellent learning opportunity.
As you know, I am new to the investment world. I started to invest in stocks a few years after the financial crisis. Thus, I didn’t experience any significant crashes up until March.
According to many analysts, the March market crash was the fastest in history. I experienced it with over $300k portfolio. Watching my portfolio value drop by 10% or more in a single day was not fun.
Some days my portfolio dropped over $35000, and the next day recovered a bit. Then dropped again!
However, my overall portfolios recovered quickly and are keep moving upward.
I believe this trend will continue for some time.
And I hope 2021 will be a fantastic year for everyone.
