Another great month with $588.43 pure passive dividend income from 32 different income streams (companies).
It is record high dividend I received in a single month so far. I keep breaking my own records in my finance journey 😀 .
I really hope that I will break this record again in this December as some of my stocks hiked their payment recents (Fortis, Emera, Altagas, etc).
Always amazing to see when cheques come from multiple high quality companies, and the income is much well diversified and much safer than our single day job.
And, this multi streams of income is growing year over year with new capital, dividend reinvestment and dividend growth.
At one point in the future, these dividend incomes will cover my expenses. The moment, I will declare myself as freedom guy.
The dividend income I received in September 2015 is 38.11% high than same period last year – $426.06 for September 2014.
Summing up all the dividends I received in 2015, I came up with $3403.03. One of my short-term goals is to receive at least $5000 dividend income during the year of 2015. So far, I achieved 68.06% of the goal.
I reinvested the money and bought few high quality equities.

Your blog has so much valuable information.
I recently switched my index fund to individual dividend stocks. I was funding the index fund for last few years but I didn’t see any gains. I would have done this from the beginning.
I received around $200 dividend last month alone.

Sim

Thank you Simoneau for stopping by,
I am so glad that you like my blog posts. Index fund investing is also a good investment, but you need to wait some time to see the benefits. I know lots of people got rich by simply investing in index fund.
I would suggest you have a good investment plan and stick with it.

Dropping a comment to show some support for the blog. I recently purchased a few of my own stocks after paying off my student loans. I read up on value investing and dividend investing over the last year prior to purchasing any stocks. As a Canadian myself, this site has been a great resource for ideas on what a Canadian dividend/value investing oriented portfolio looks like. Thanks again and keep up the great work.

Wow. Almost $600 from such a variety of sources. Great way to stay diversified. You are well on your way. Happy to see a few U.S. stocks in common for our September dividend income. With a full quarter still to go it looks like you’ll get close to your 2015 goals. Thanks for sharing.

Congrats on crossing $500 in a month. Your forward annual dividends of over $5,000 is fantastic. It won’t be long before you hit the $25k a year goal. It just takes a little time and continued dedication. Best of luck to you.
