Hello FJ,
I am currently a 19 years old student who just started to invest about 6 months ago. I got greatly inspired by your blog and it gave me the idea to start my own (also about investing). Is it worth making one? I have watched the step-to-step videos and explored the Bluehost website and their offered plans. Although spending more or less 4 dollars a month isn’t a big issue, signing up for a 3 years plan makes me wonder if I should jump into this. There are so many questions and so few answers before I start my own blog. Would people be interested to read it? What should I include in my blog? How will I make it visible and let people know its existence(promoting my blog)?
Sorry for the excessive amount of questions,
James

Hello James,
Thank you for stopping by,
I started this blog to track my financial progress publicly . English is not my native language and I didn’t know what to write, but I started. Few months later, I started to see some traffic and received some encouraging feedback from readers like you.
Some people asked me questions, and some shared their knowledge and ideas through the comments section. This is how my blog grow.
To answer to your questions:
“Would people be interested to read it?” Yes. if you add some values in their life. Help your readers by sharing your knowledge and ideas without expecting any returns. Later, they will help you back somehow. Just focus to help at least one person in your life.
“What should I include in my blog?” . Write something you are passion about. There are millions of people in the world have similar like yours. They will start follow you and share their ideas with you and with your other readers.
“How will I make it visible and let people know its existence(promoting my blog)?” .. Write some unique (your own experience and something you know better). Google and other search engines will help you to bring readers to your blog. In this blog, I write my own journey. Most of this blog readers come from Google and Yahoo search engines. I didn’t do any other promotion activities.
“First Step is the hardest things to do”.
I hope I answered your questions,
Best Regards,

Hello FJ,
Thank you for your reply. After doing some research concerning creating a blog and hosting it, I am now wondering whether I should start by creating a free one via WordPress to then transfer it to Bluehost or should I instead, jump on Bluehost immediately?
Looking forward to your reply,
James

Hello James,
You could create free blog at wordpress.com (wordpress platform) or blogger.com (Google account), but I am sure how easy to transfer to Bluehost.
If you have a long-term plan to create a website, I would say start with a good hosting platform. It is better for your Google rank because when you move your site from one domain (free) to another search engines count your site as new website.
I hope this helps,
Best Regards,
